Texas Rehabilitation Association Conference in South Padre Island - Cancelled

Due to Hurricane Dolly and the damage and water in and around South Padre Island, we are cancelling the conference for next week. The Island has no water or electricity and the staff will not be returning to the hotel to assess or address any damage until Sunday, July 27th. First estimates are they might open August 6, but with limited capacity and possibly not fully open until mid August.

We will be talking with the hotel next week with hopes of rescheduling. You will be notified as soon as new dates and plans can be made. We are all novices about rescheduling a conference due to a hurricane, so please bear with us as we try to regroup! Any questions, please contact me at boblindaworld@msn.com or call 713 818-1852.

We will have the conference! Hopefully all our exhibitors, speakers, attendees will be able to reschedule and still make it a great conference - just on a different date! Thank you for your support and patience. Sandra Hansmann, TRA President and Conference Co-Chair, is in the Valley with no electricity, but we have communicated about what to do next.
